College Night Logo
My alma mater needed a logo/seal to represent College Night for the 100th anniversary and on. I was thrilled to be asked to create the logo for such an iconic event for the school.

What's College Night?
College Night is the University of Montevallo's homecoming competitive theater showdown. It is one of the nation's oldest college traditions and takes place in the historic Palmer Hall Auditorium every year. To create the new logo I used lyrics from each side's song, the facade of Palmer Hall, and input from College Night veterans for inspiration.
College Night is competitive theater against
the Purple Side and Gold Side.
Logo and Why
The final logo showcased the historic Palmer Hall where all 100 of the past College Night events had taken place. Each color's side was represented using the University's branded gold and purple colors. I made sure the iconic "we are united" and "there's always room for one more" lyrics from each was used to represent their circles in the logo.
